From then day one of announcement of Darshan’s ‘Porkhi’ Kannada film the hype and hoopla has reached to a great extent. Ganesh Kasargod the talented and reputed journalist presents the Kannada cinema ‘Porkhi’ in which challenging star Darshan is in title role.

Like how he narrates the contents of his interview – the start to finish of Ganesh Kasargod was similar. He started off from the evolution of the project and ended with the probable release date of the film ‘Porkhi’.

The shooting will be conducted in two schedules and the actual shoot begins in April but before that on Ugadi day the muhurut for the film will take place. The survey done by Ganesh and team pointed to Darshan as the perfect hero for the film. After finishing the current films on hand Darshan appear for two schedules. The selection of director MD Sridhar was also unanimous and as of now music director Harikrishna, dialogue writer BA Madhu, Kaviraj for lyrics have been booked says Ganesh.

The title of ‘Pokiri’ apt for the remake version was in the hands of actor Balajee but he did not budge to give it. When ‘Porkhi’ was thought it was in the hands of N Kumar that was very easily handed for ‘Pokiri’ remake recalled Ganesh Kasargod.

Santosh Pai is the executive producer and financier of the film. He feels that the film will be welcomed by the Kannada audience.

Ramesh Babu Producer Dattatreya Bache Gowda friend come down from Hyderabad to attend the media briefing of the film. According to him the Kannada version would run for one year in the theatres. He intends to make Oriya remake of the same film. According to Babu the new heroine from North India will be counterpart to Darshan in ‘Porkhi’. We would give best quality film he says.
